Yes - but this is currently only available in New Zealand.
First Table offers a feature called Four+More to include full-price bookings alongside First Table bookings. We built Four+More in response to feedback from our restaurant partners telling us that First Table bookings sometimes arrive with more than four diners.
Some restaurants are happy to accommodate additional full-price paying diners as it allows them to increase margins early on in the evening. On the other hand, some restaurants find additional diners problematic. We came up with a solution.
How it Works:
- You choose how many additional full-price diners you are happy to accept per table
- With Four+More the total discount for the group decreases to average out the half price people and the full price people. The total discount applied for Four+More bookings equals: 5 guests = 40% each, 6 guests = 33% each, 7 guests = 29% each, 8 guests = 25% off each
- We will configure your page settings to enable Four+More and your max pax per table selection, which people will see when booking.
- The booking confirmation sent to the diner and restaurant will display the total number of diners (ie 50% off food for four people, plus three additional full-price paying people)
