First Table Etiquette
Special Conditions have had an upgrade
We've recently refreshed how Special Conditions are displayed to create a cleaner, more consistent booking experience for diners, while making it easier for your venue's unique requirements to stand out.
All diners booking through First Table are required to agree to First Table's standard booking terms and conditions before completing their reservation. Previously, some of these standard conditions were also duplicated within individual venue Special Conditions. These have now been streamlined.
From now on, standard First Table booking conditions are displayed under First Table Etiquette, while Special Conditions are reserved exclusively for information specific to your venue. We've also introduced clearer sections for booking time limits, party sizes, dietary requests and applicable surcharges, making important information easier for diners to find.
There's nothing you need to do, these updates have already been applied automatically. Your venue-specific Special Conditions remain unchanged, while diners benefit from a clearer and more consistent booking journey.
If you'd like a printable copy of your venue's Special Conditions, including First Table's standard Terms & Conditions, simply get in touch with our Client Success team and we'll be happy to create one for you.
What diners see before booking

Both Special Conditions and standard First Table etiquette are also displayed in booking confirmations for diners reference.
