At First Table, we’re always looking for ways to make your service run smoother, your planning more predictable, and your tables easier to fill.
That’s why we’ve introduced a series of updates designed to give you more control over your bookings - earlier visibility, better forward planning, and a stronger head start on every service.
Because when you can see what’s coming, you can perform at your best.

More visibility, more opportunity
You can now showcase your tables up to 14 days in advance, giving your venue greater exposure across a longer booking window.
This added visibility means more opportunities to secure bookings earlier, helping you build momentum ahead of each service - especially during quieter periods.
With a clearer view of what’s ahead, you can plan with confidence, optimise your team’s schedule, and stay ahead of key dates, events, and seasonal demand.
A shift to when diners are actually booking
We’ve also introduced a new midday daily rollover, with availability now opening at 12 noon each day rather than midnight.
Alongside this, table releases have now moved from 9pm to midday - bringing availability in line with when diners are actively browsing and planning their day.
This change is all about working with real diner behaviour, not against it.
The result? Earlier bookings, more consistent demand, and a clearer picture of your covers from the start of the day.

Start the day in control
By bringing bookings forward, you can begin each day with greater clarity and fewer unknowns.
Instead of late-night spikes and last-minute changes, you’ll have:
- A stronger view of your upcoming service
- Reduced end-of-day uncertainty
- Smoother, more predictable operations
It’s a simple shift that creates a more controlled, less reactive service environment.
Designed to make every booking count
These updates are built with one goal in mind: helping you fill more off-peak tables while making your day-to-day operations easier to manage.
From increased visibility to better alignment with diner behaviour, every change is designed to help you stay ahead, not just keep up.
Because when your bookings work better, your service does too.

Smarter demands, better results
With increased forward visibility and a booking window that better reflects real diner behaviour, these updates don’t just help you fill tables, they help you fill them more strategically.
By securing bookings earlier in the cycle, you can shape demand across your service, balance peak and off-peak sittings, and reduce reliance on last-minute traffic. This means more consistency in your covers, improved revenue predictability, and a stronger overall service flow.
It’s not just about more bookings, it’s about better bookings at the right times, giving you greater control over how your service unfolds.
