What is the difference between public and private reviews?

Diners are able to review your venue publicly, privately, or both. Public reviews are accessible to anyone visiting your page, providing valuable insights to potential customers and helping to enhance your venue's online presence. These reviews will be published as long as they adhere to our review guidelines, which ensure that feedback remains constructive and respectful. On the other hand, private reviews are confidential and can only be seen by your management team. This allows diners to share their thoughts and experiences without the pressure of public visibility, which can lead to more honest and candid feedback. It is important to note that you have the ability to respond to both public and private reviews.

To see if the review is public or private you must be in the 'Reviews tab':

Engaging with reviewers demonstrates your commitment to customer satisfaction and can foster a positive relationship with your patrons. By responding thoughtfully to public reviews, you can showcase your dedication to improving your venue based on customer feedback, while addressing private reviews can help you resolve any concerns directly with the diner.
